Do your spring cleaning early! Donate books now to the Friends of the Brentwood Library to help us have a great variety of choices at our next book sales, one in April and a back-to-school sale in July. Do you have children’s books you no longer use? How about education games and other materials your children have outgrown? Bring them all down to us at the Second Story Book Shop at the Brentwood Library, 104 Oak St. PLEASE NOTE– DO NOT place books in the book return slot or leave them at the library’s front desk– take the elevator upstairs and turn left to find us. We welcome your donations, which are tax deductable.

Don’t miss it! The next Friends of the Brentwood Library book sale will be Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second floor of the library. The sale will also feature an assortment of holiday books and puzzles, holiday classics, children’s, fiction, and many of today’s bestsellers.

Teachers, parents, and homeschoolers will find bargains galore Saturday, July 20 on a large variety of educational materials, children’s books and other back-to- school specials at the Friends of the Brentwood Library Educational Supplies/Teachers Pop Up Book Sale. The sale, which runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be held on the second floor of the Brentwood Library. In addition to the educational materials, other reading favorites, such as adult books, books for young adults, and more will be available at discount prices.

Prizes are being distributed to the winners of a drawing for the Brentwood Library’s summer
reading program. More than 800 children completed the program, making the Brentwood
Library’s program among the top three in the county. After a drawing was completed, 55
children received a chance to choose a toy from the prize cabinet at the Library’s entrance.
Thanks to the supporters of the Friends of the Brentwood Library in supporting this
important program.
